But the fact is that Buddha Bose's "84 Asanas• manuscript was not lost. It was in fact the author's rejected manuscript. Due to some major mistakes in the manuscript, the author Buddha Bose never published the '84 Asanas." Foremost, there are no "84 Asanas" in the manuscript. Some Asanas are shown in steps or variations of one asana which the author Buddha Bose numbered mistakenly in separate manner thus adding up to total 84 asanas in number. Actually there are only 69 Asanas. In the section of "Mudras• also steps and variations are numbered separately which add upto total 10 in number. Actually there are only 6 Mudras.
